for Cabaret Revoltaire:100 Years of Dada (a live
mad event)
12-10-16 Dada messes with your mind, your senses. Mixes together apples &
glue, the sound & sand.. for fun, outrage, joy & cacophony. Dada
jams its feet, head & heart (& anything else it can find or fabricate)
into the closed doors of the culture factory. With open doors it may
rush in or barricade the damned thing shut.
Dada is now & then & always. It’s an attitude smiling at dirty
laundry.
Jump in!
Cut off one hand. Other tentacles will sprout electric.
Dada is timeless.
You can call it what you like.
This world is a crazy, wonderful, simply complicated place.
Disturbing & wonderful things just happen.
